E-mail I sent to MSRNC re: SCARBOROUGH sL-IMUS-wannabe circus |
|
Edited on Thu Dec-20-07 01:41 PM by UTUSN
Granted I'm mostly dozing during the SCARBOROUGH sL-IMUS-wannabe circus, but this is what gets through the haze:
Mika: "Obama Obama Obama Obama Obama Obama Obama Obama Obama Obama Obama Obama ..."
SCARBOROUGH: "CLINTON scandal 199*... Hillary... CLINTON scandal 199*... Hillary... CLINTON scandal 199*..."
Mika: "Obama Obama Obama Obama Obama Obama Obama Obama Obama Obama Obama Obama ..."
SCARGOROUGH: "1994 1994 1994... We took over... 1994 1994 1994... "
Mika: "Obama Obama Obama Obama Obama Obama Obama Obama Obama Obama Obama Obama ..."
It's a lame ripoff of sL-IMUS, but Mika & Willie are classy and do the show great service when the motormouth, blabbermouth Joe is gone, which seems to happen more and more on Mondays and Fridays, which any personnel manager would recognize as a red flag.
Whoever was behind the decisions to hire Michael WIENER-Savage, keep sL-IMUS, and fire DONAHUE appears to be the driving force behind THIS garbage, too.
=====================separate from e-mail, saying HERE at DU:
Does it seem that Rethugs are playing up the supposed CLINTON "attacks" on OBAMA, crying crocodile tears "defending" him against the meanies?!1 If so, it's CLEAR to everybody ain't it, that it's for THEIR Rethug purposes, NOT for Senator OBAMA's?!1

he sure goes for the Clinton jabs constanly. I have gone back to Imus. Direct TV RFD 369. He is a little less caustic, looks relaxed, not crazy about the two newbies. I do enjoy the interviews, much more interesting than the " I LOVE ME jOE" crap on MSNBC. Joe has such a huge ego and not even entertaining or bright! Now I would love to see Mika and Iman together, she would really shake it up!

3. Funny how you get a different perspective on the radio. |
|
I think the newbies are doing very well on the show. I think the sports guy is sufficiently acerbic and has a sharp and quick wit, and the comedienne is funny as hell. Of course, I can only hear and not see, as we don't have the RFD franchise hereabouts on cable.
He's not shy on the substance, too, which makes it a better use of one's time than that MSNBC shit.

4. When watching the show |
|
I get the feeling there is an uncomfortable existance between them, hard to explain! They are good , but it doesn't seem to meld together right. Took me a while to adjust to the show and new set, which drives me nuts. Huge window in the middle of the set overlooking sidewalk, and people looking in as they walk by all the time. Guess I'm going to have to get use to it, that all.
