Of all the declared candidates of any party, which one would be your absolute last choice for President? And why?

1. Among viable candidates: Huckabilly. No theocrats, no clergy--no, no, no. Not ever.

2. giuliani
most like Bush. The whole above the law. I can do what I want. Lie every day. Kiss my ass mentality. He is most livng the lie of life is different after 9/11 and the rule of law doesn't matter. Then again you have the theocratic aspect of Huckabee and Romney and double Gitmo. I don't see Clinton as opposing any of it either. No open gov't with her previous records, calling a nation's army a terrorist organization. I think she is too hawkish for my taste. But I guess Giuliani is the worst if you ask me.

15. I don't know-- Romney seems almost like a Bush clone to me.

He seems supremely ignorant and incurious-- he wants the power and the prestige, but isn't all that engaged in or interested in governing. He seems like the corporate faction's Bush replacement to me. Giuliani may also be their guy. They seem to hedge their bets.

I think Huckabee would be one of the least effective presidents if elected. If Huckabee were president, the right wing establishment would spend most of it's time tearing him down. He's from the fundie wing of the party, and they're not good for business. They're meant to dutifully vote for their masters and clap like seals when they get some symbolic (but meaningless) scraps. They are NOT meant to rule.

3. For me, it's a three way tie among the leading Republicans.
Is it just me or do they get more scary every time?

4. Right now they're trying to appeal to their base, so they
are letting their hair down and showing their true hideous selves. But come general election time, they'll become all warm and fuzzy and act all populist and "compassionate" and "inspiring" - but it's all a pack of lies.

6. Any who seem to have forgotten what the First Amendment...
allows and does not allow. The Huckster seems to be most out in the open on this, but most of them strike me as a pack of liars and manipulators, taken as a group.
