Remember, this is what our "have a verry merry Christmas" middle class neighbors
regard as a GOOD thing. It is a GIFT to them, to see New Orleans moving ahead with
demolitions and clearing out the homeless camps just in time for Yuletide.

Which extends the evil far beyond mere localized circumstance.

It is impossible to have a Merry Christmas when the suffering of others
goes unrecognized by the celebrants we surround ourselves with. How to
celebrate a holiday with people who celebrate injustice of this sort,
as Americans seem to do?
