Will the Balkans be the start of yet another World War, this time WW-III?

...And who would want to drum this up? I found this piece posted only seven days ago:

Is History Repeating Itself - WW-III has been sighted

In Canada, we don't get much news about what goes on in Europe, let alone what ever censored news we do get.
Right now Canadians are being oppressed by the environment and the harassed by the environment police. As mentioned before, environmentalists believe in government intervention, government oppression of the citizen, government control of businesses and the list goes on, all of which falls nothing short of fascism.

In Europe though, something more is brewing, that hasn't really hit the Canadian news media outlets in either Canada or the United States. In fact, if it wasn't for an article emailed to me from the Canadian Action Party, I would have passed over the information as well.

The Globe and Mail just mentioned that Russia was suspending the talks on the arms race, but didn't go into reasons why, nor did they go into any detail of what had sparked the situation in the first place. Where I found more information was from the Telegraph from the U.K., and from the World Socialist Web Sit and from What Does It Mean web sight.

The area of concern is Kosovo. The head lines in What Does It Mean read "Putin Orders 'First Strike' Against U.S. Forces Over Kosovo" Kosovo is a province of Serbia, which doesn't have any intention of recognizing the Independence of Kosovo. Right now, Russia is backing Serbia, while the United States and European Union are backing Kosovo.
Serbia is ready to go to war over any declaration of Independence. The lines have been and now everyone waits for Kosovo parliament to make the next move. If the Kosovo parliament declares Independence, Serbian troops are poised to march into the province and bring it back into the fold. Russia is supporting Serbia and the West, under NATO have the choice of letting Serbia invade, or support the new independent state.

In response to E.U. and U.S. support for Kosovo Independence, Putin has also ordered the Russian Navy back on World Wide patrol status, with special consideration to be able to engage American and European forces should they interfere with Serbia's plan to keep Kosovo part of their collective even if it is by force. In other words, Putin has declared "First Strike" capabilities if NATO forces attempt to block Russian sea access to the Balkans and relief to the Serbs upon any outbreak of war.

Serbian leaders have issued a warning, saying they will do everything in their power, including war, to keep Kosovo from Independence. This has put a wedge between Russia and the United States as well as has split many European countries who understand the threat of war having gone through two world wars and the causes of those wars, something that is not understood by most Americans.

But there is a domino effect here. The Balkans are made up of a number of states, and if Kosovo declares its Independence, there is fear that the other Balkan states will do the same. Branislav Ristivojevic and Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica have advised that the whole world order would crumble, everything that was built on the past 50 years would be meaningless. All the flash points in the world, not just in the Balkans, would erupt. They are very serious about this - the domino effect is similar to the causes of the First World War

The generals serving with NATO forces in the region, have already advised the European Parliament that more soldiers will be needed if war breaks out in Kosovo. They advised that there would be no other choice.

So are we possibly at the outbreak of another World War? The conditions appear to be ripe for such an event. Economic systems are on the verge of self destruction, especially if the American economy fails (not too many people realize this, but because of the greed of lending institutions, there is an economic crises developing in the states). Tensions are at near breaking point in the Balkans as other states are seeking Independence from Serbia and even Russia.

According to sources obtained, tensions are so high, that citizens of ethnic origins are preparing to flee areas of Kosovo, Serbia, and other Balkan states, knowing that the possibility of war is so high, that not even the UN Security Council can prevent anything from happening.

As a student of history, I can see the chain reaction being set up. Conditions are ripe and ready. The United Nations Security Council will be discussing Kosovo on December 19 of this year. If nothing changes and the Kosovar Parliament declares its Independence in the new year (they estimate sometime between February and March) the chance of this escalating into a world event is far greater than what westerners, and especially North Americans realize.
Russia is backing Serbia, which also has the backing of Iran which is an ally of Russia. There are already tensions between Iran and the United States. The allies of each major player have been put on notice and as the world continues to move towards the perfect condition, Canadian and American people have been virtually kept out of the loop as it were.

The media's concern with the environment, has over shadowed the political unrest in the Balkan states. Environmentalists have kept control over their media propaganda machine, failing to see that there is more at stake in falsifying research, and entering selected data into a computer to obtain a scare tactic on projected ideas that they can not even prove.

Greenland ice pack is melting, yes that is true. It has been melting since 1600. Greenland used to be farmed by the Danes when the Vikings sailed the seas and roamed the land masses. Global warming is an event that can not be stopped, not even slowed down. What will happen will happen.
But as demands are made to control industrial productions, and the economy through drastic and deep cuts in emissions, will only cause a depression so vast that it will make the depression of the 1930's look like a Sunday School picnic.

Will war happen? I don't know. But if I read my history right, the conditions are lining up to form the line needed for such a world event to once more happen.
God help us.

So what do DUers think about this, especially coming on the heels of the Democratic compromise on continuing to fund the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars?

2. More on the Canadian Action Party
Wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canadian_Action_Party

It own Web site:
http://www.canadianactionparty.ca/home.html

Seems to be a right wing, Nationalist Libertarian party. More concerned about "Canadian Independence" and "Canadian Financial Independence" than anything else.

3. The first paragraph is enough to know the rest of it is shit.
Canadian's don't get European news?

The environment is oppressing Canadians?

Linking environmentalists to a desire to have business controlled by the government?

Yeah, that means the rest of the article will be dutifully researched and thoughtful.
