While looking for a quote, I found a bunch of them our "leaders" could stand to read...
I was looking for this:
"Which way did they go? How many were there? How fast were they going? I must find them; I am their leader."

Found it, and more, here:
http://cals.arizona.edu/extension/leadership/quotes.html

"One of the most important skills you need as a leader is the ability to listen."

"Leadership flows from the minds of followers more than from the titles of leaders, more from the perception of willing followers than from anointment."
- Lane Secretan

1. Here's another from farther down the page:
Leadership without mutual trust is a contradiction in terms.

2. This quote is hilarious.
""Which way did they go? How many were there? How fast were they going? I must find them; I am their leader." :)

Was it really James Hayes who said that? There is a paragraph space in between, hard to tell.

3. I've always liked that quote
And, honestly, just now our "leaders" need to do that.

It is confusing how they formatted the quotes on that site. I jumped to the conclusion that those not immediately followed by a name were without attribution, but I dunno.
