My congressman wants Cheney impeached and needs your help
My congressman, Robert Wexler (D) FL, is a member of the House Judiciary Committee. He's heard his constituents and is now doing everything he can to get hearings started on the impeachment of Cheney. And we all know that such hearings would open the floodgates to the lies and horrific crimes of the past seven years.

Please go to:

http://wexlerwantshearings.com/

and endorse his petition.

And then put pressure on your own congressperson to get his/her own petition started. If enough voters yell, pols have to listen or risk losing their job.

Thank you for listening, Congressman Wexler. (I don't know if you look at DU, but Randi Rhodes does and she'll let you know that you've been endorsed here.)

1. You're blessed to have Wexler as your Rep.
I'm blessed to have Gwen Moore who became the 24th co-sponsor of Articles of IMPEACHMENT against Cheney** this week.

4. If They Drag Their Feet Long Enough.......

....It will be Nov 2008 and they will not have to do anything.....I don't remember petitions during the Watergate years and the Clinton scandal.......Congress need to JUST DO WHAT THEY WERE ELECTED FOR.......

....We don't need anymore petitions.....we need action.

13. wth is with Conyers? When they were in the minority he supported impeachment
now he does a tap dance around it. Sometimes he's for it, sometimes not. But he's waiting for someone to give him the go ahead.

It just ticks me off.

They should have filed impeachment the day that Bush took away scooter's sentence.

14. I have no idea what's wrong with Pelosi and Reid. All I can come up with
is that somebody has something on them, or they are incredibly stupid enough to believe that the Dems best shot in next year's election is to do nothing.

Like most of the inside the beltway political class, it seems they've lost touch with reality. I have no idea how they can avoid hearing the cry for help that the majority in this country is screaming for.
