So I found a package under the tree today: "To Dad, From Jesus"

Most of the kids were there at the time when the daughter pointed out this package to me. She thought it was pretty funny. I commented that it would probably be a pretty humble gift because Jesus never had much money.

My 20-year-old son, who has never suffered from a lack of humor, immediately chimed in: "You shouldn't expect a gift at all. It's his birthday, after all, not yours. It's probably a goodie bag."

2. I picked him up at the airport Friday night, and the flight was 3 hours late.

I didn't mind. I revel in his company so much that driving home while chatting is always a joy -- even at 1 am.
