First of all, one thing this nation does NOT need is a "President huckabee", it just sounds 100% stupid.
And another thing we definitely do not need is a southern Baptist preacher as commander in chief, believe me, it won't work, not this particular one anyway. What kind of a sicko starts out as a preacher and then runs for president? He may say he's a 'former' preacher, but that don't fool me, you can take the boy out of the pulpit but you can't take the pulpit out of the boy. george w. fooled the ever faithful Christian conservative voting block with his phony baloney born again lies, but his faith is fabricated, huckabee's is genuine and all consuming.
The republicans have for decades relied on the faithful for their votes, and then, having invited them to the dance, walked out with other dates, every time. Republicans love to mention Jesus and family values and evil homosexuals at every opportunity, now they are floating the notion that Christianity and God Himself is under attack by rotten secularists who say 'happy holidays' instead of 'Merry Christmas'.
I know how the Christian conservatives would re-build America, we all know what they see in their secret dreams, we all know how they would deal with those who are not of the faith, we see how they perceive other religions, and the non-believers, and it should give us all a chill. The invisible wall that seperates church and state in America would be taken apart brick by brick, and new walls would replace it, under a theocracy.
tancredo dropped out of the race, another dumbfuck evolution denier, he's the one who suggested we blow up Mecca as a foreign policy, but huckabee rises to the top of the disgusting heap. Now he's in a race against romney, and the spectacle of the two of them kowtowing to the devoted voters portends a very bad trend in American politics and society. Should we laugh at them, or should we fear them?
