You ARE a 'ray of light' !!
I was pissed off too at Kerry in '04, for many reasons BUT

he is a good Senator and he fights and tries to do the right thing!!

He's learned a hard lesson and it shows IMHO.

Thank You for posting this!

45. My thoughts too.
Do you think he's regretting the extra work he has to do now because he didn't do the challenge then over rigged elections like he promissed? To my knowledge, JK does not have any renewable energy at his wife's home near Pittsburgh.

but wasn't on the Judiciary committee.

I guess he's suppose to just barge in on them and do that job too.

6. What Can I Say? Senator Kerry Hires Top-Notch Staffers...
... and they are extremely effective at helping him to reach beyond his official committee assignments and cover the full scope of his Senatorial duties.

7. I continue to regard John Kerry as a true statesman.
I hope that the full scope of his Senatorial duties finds him especially concentrated on righting the Constitutional ship of state.

36. Still have my "Kerry/Edwards poster
hanging in my den. There's something so terribly wrong with this world, when a true war hero, an accomplished senator and elder statesman could lose to a draft dodging, alcoholic, cowboy wannabe who can't even put together a coherant sentence.

It defies all logic it really does.

Lets hope next time around people have come to their senses.

Most of the important things Kerry does go unnoticed. The football story gets media attention and then people respond with "Gee doesn't he have better things to do?"

33. lazy bum from boston
It's unfortunate that I have to use this emoticon: :sarcasm: but I do.

It's good to see DUers giving credit where it is due and actually appreciating what our "do nothing" Dems are actually doing instead of listening to some corporate media whore with a Republican agenda piss on us and tell us it's raining. We don't believe their Orwellian lies about the war or weapons or tax cuts or healthcare or anything else, but we believe them when they bash Democrats.

Kudos to Kerry and I hope he gets the football game on national TV too, because he can and will do it all. He's John Fucking Kerry, not George Wanker Bush. Democrats can multi-task. Dems have better things to do...and actually do them.

42. I have to add this about the fuel funds bush cut
Our newspaper printed an article that said they would run out of money for fuel funds for the needy, this week. They said it was because congress failed to release more funds.

Correct me -- in this---- didn't bush slash the fuel funds. Why is congress getting the blame? I know congress isn't doing what it should but it is not fair for congress to get blamed for bush's crap.

My sisters, who watch O'Liely, one told me that she never heard him say that. She watched the this, and could not recall the statement! So, what does that tell you about the mindset of the people out there?
I thought Kerry was a good man. He was (swiftboated) in every sense of the word.
