Prediction: Bush and repubs will blame recession on next Prez
They'll say that Bush left office with low unemployment and high GDP. Nevermind that the recession was building under his administration.

But few housing bubbles have ended so badly as the one today, when the nation is confronting the prospect of mass foreclosures and family dislocations.

Recession inevitable, economists predict
By Patrice Hill
December 25, 2007

Using the "R" word was once considered impolite, unprofessional, even taboo. But today many economists have cast aside the stigma and are widely predicting a recession next year.

1. Its a safe bet when your guessing republicans will blame somebody else...
...I do think this one just may start to hit before Bush is out though.

11. They will still blame the Dems.
Remember, Rove recently said that the Democrats practically forced bush to invade Iraq!

5. It has always been thus...

..Repigs ruin the economy. Democrats win the next elections and Repigs blame the Democrats for the mess the Repigs made while they were in power.

Damn right they will. It's what they always do. They've been doing that all my life and undoubtedly long before. Ruin the economy, then blame the Democrats who are elected next. If they can't blame THOSE Democrats, then blame the LAST ones.

8 years of BFEE "economic policy" have brought our economy to its knees (or so it is predicted next year and it ain't none too solid right now) - and when the next Democratic admin is in power, Repigs will blame them for it. If a Repig admin remains in power, Repigs will blame Democrats in Congress for it. Or they'll recite the good ol "blame Clinton" mantra.

No matter how, no matter what logistical twists Repigs have to make to blame Democrats, rest assured they will - no matter what. After all, with narcissists - it's ALWAYS SOMEONE ELSE'S FAULT. Never their own. And they'll make the MOST INTERESTING logistically twisted arguments to make it so.

It's the Republican/narcissist M.O.

It has always been thus.

... false flag event this summer, most likely a nuclear detonation... martial law, suspension of rights & legal process... internment of progressive activists... beyond that it gets a little muddy... or can't you all see this train coming?

it will be blamed on the Democratic Congress.
