Jim Webb was superb last night.... |
|
Give em hell, Jim.
Keep writing your own speeches my man, they're much more genuine than the antiseptic political mumbo-jumbo...

No over the top theatrics, just to the point, powerful words used to the greatest effect. I read where some have said he is no orator like Obama. He does not have to be. What is said is more important than how it is said if what is said is truthful and powerful.

2. That was something, huh? |

It seemed practically genuine for a politician! Really quite direct and inspiring.

3. Jim Webb is a no nonsense man with a son over there |

in the quagmire, and he is not a happy person. I hate to think what he would do if his son was killed or seriously injured over there in bush's experiment in folly.

I read his speech in the paper this morning and it was like a gigantic breath of fresh clean air amid the smog and filth of the SOTU.
Webb would make one hell of a president.
