6. Definitionally speaking, it is impossible.

In my opinion, it is impossible for a troll to make an intelligent argument as making unintelligent arguments, resorting to ad hominem and straw-man fallacies, and generally making an ass of themselves is part of the definition of what a troll is. It's as if you're asking how many bachelors are married; it is a simple contradiction of terms.

12. I saw a classic example the other day.

Amongst other inane arguments, this guy was trying to defend Dana Perino for not knowing what the Cuban missile crisis was. His explanation? She couldn't be blamed for not knowing what the Cuban missile crisis was, because if she didn't know what the Cuban missile crisis was, that meant she must have been educated in the public schools, which are utterly lousy and incapable of giving anyone a good education these days anyway. Therefore, there was no possible way Dana Perino could have received a good education! And why are our public schools so lousy? Because they are all run by...wait for it...LIBERALS!!!!!

Even assuming Dana Perino did attend public schools (which he offered no proof of), even assuming that they ARE all lousy because they are run by liberals, he offered no explanation whatsoever for what made our fine president deliberately CHOOSE this sorry product of our liberally run public schools as an ideal candidate to join his parade of press secretaries.

You really have to hand it to them sometimes, for being able to take the most embarrassing evidence of neocon rightwing incompetence and find a way to blame it on liberals and progressives without even addressing half the issues, employing logical so circular it boggles the mind, and not letting anything like seeking out "facts" (you know, like trying to find out where Dana Perino was actually educated) bother them in the least.
