3. Looks like they have had some good rains, but they need a lot more.
A couple hurricanes tracking across Georgia next summer and fall would cause damage, but will help refill their rivers and lakes.

4. Heavy rain over Lake Lanier yesterday .. more on the way tomorrow.
The NWS reported 1+ inch of rain at KFTY (west Atlanta near Six Flags) yesterday and last night. My dad measured over 1.5 inches in Griffin, 40 miles south of Atlanta.

6. We're working on it
Had a 2 lines of rain yesterday and another round of rain predicted for tomorrow. This may not be the driest year on record--just the 2nd driest. :hi:
