very simple thing to help out CWA (communications union) on broadband legislation
all you have to do is take the speed test for broadband connections in your area. CWA (Communications Workers of America) is needing to get at least a million people around the country to test their connection speed so they can lobby congress for standard broadband policy.

all you do is go here:

http://www.speedmatters.org/yourspeed

type in your zip and that's it! there's a place for your email, but you don't have to provide it.

once you try it, pass it on to everyone you know.

The US is apparently one of the few countries NOT to have a consistent policy, and we're slower than MOST countries, INCLUDING North Korea!

thanks for your help!

UNIONS FOREVER!

2. I belonged to the CWA for 22 years

I know most unions were historically important to building the middle class and ending oppression of the workers... but by the time I joined the CWA in the 80s it was little more than a scam to keep long time members in cushy high paying jobs while screwing the new, younger members. The CWA can kiss my ass.

6. your words: "very simple thing to help out CWA"
I'll do for them what they did for me and thousands of my co-workers. Nothing.
I just wish I could get 15$ a week from everyone for doing it! :D
