So one of the pundits said (I believe it was Mike Barnacle) Peloisi's dress
cost more than most people make in a year.. Anyone believe that is true and did anyone comment on how much Bush*'s or Cheney's suit cost?

I thought it was Tucker. Whether it was or wasn't him, from what I saw on the scroll ticker he was being his usual mean spririted self while channeling Coultergeist.

5. Bush suits cost $2,000 to $14,000 -- is this true?
http://www.buzzflash.com/contributors/2002/12/06_Suits.html
>.
When brothers Louis and Jacob Weinberg founded the company in 1916, they were determined to make the best suit. They used the finest fabrics and designed only simple, timeless shapes. This guiding principle ensures Oxxford continues to create topnotch garments for a price --$2,000 to $14,000 --that loyal customers are willing to pay. Oxxford produced 25,000 handmade garments and had $30 million in sales last year, according to Roger Parfitt, the company's chief operating officer.

19. That's not that much for a bespoke suit
I was thinking about getting a Saville Row suit to treat myself when I go to London on my 2-week, mid-Iraq-year R&R. I looked into it and handmade, bespoke suits START around $7k. You want something nice, you can spend $15k or more.

I might get a bespoke shirt. I'll have to go back to Korea if I ever want a hand-tailored suit.

There's so much mean-spirited whining from every right wing cuss these days.

Poor them.

How much do the drugs that keep Bush sober cost the American taxpayer each year?

It seems like any woman in power has to have comments made about clothing and hair (ie Hilary changed her hairstyle from time to time while in the WH). Can't believe these morons didn't comment on what color her lipstick was or if her nails were polished...:grr: :grr: :grr: :grr:

Friggin' morans. Not to mention Chimpy's suit could hardly have come from Wal-Mart. They are so hypocritical it's obvious! You'd think they'd reject that presentation on that ground alone.

during the post speech wrapup. It was apparently from their "Hardblogger" web coverage of the speech. Jaw droppingly sexist and irrelevant. Barnicle probably stole the line from George Carlin.

I'm sure her suit was not cheap. But women's clothing does NOT get that pricey--unless you're buying a ballgown from a couture house.

18. Not likely...
unless most people make less than minimum wage. Even if the suit cost $10,000 (and I think it's probably less than that) most people make more than that. Perhaps he's thinking of workers in China?
BTW, I've noticed an extreme churlishness from Repukes about Dems who make (and spend) a lot of money. They always seem to worship rich people unless they're Democrats.

Don't even try telling me how much I can spend on my clothes with my money!

WTF is wrong with America, our "media" discusses the price of someone's dress while Americans slaughter & are slaughtered in an illegal hitleresque "supreme crime" war of aggression against a nation & a people that hadn't been doing one damn thing against anyone??!

33. Laura Bush is no doubt richer, and she dresses like Madame Mao
And didn't that awful red number Laura wore for the holidays cost $8,000? The one it turned out several other women at the same party were wearing?

Nancy Pelosi has not only has the money for it, she has style and a great little figure.

Tucker is not only a Repub shill, but a schmuck. And that's a character defect you can't cover up with a bow tie.
