6. I remember one of the first things I saw from there several

years ago, one of the most idiotic treatises I've ever had the misfortune to read on the nets (and that's saying something!). It was a very long, complicated rant entitled "The Yankee Problem" that I'm sure the "author" fancied was academic-history-worthy (pukeballs). Basically, it was just a long rant about how yankees were at fault for everything that had ever gone wrong in the country, how the south was the REAL America and was doing just fine until yankees settled the country, how they finally had a REAL president who was from the REAL America, praising Shrub to kingdom come, blahblahblahblahblah.

Everyone thought it was just fantastic and praised him to high heaven. UNTIL. Some spoilsport party-pooper mentioned that their sacred God Bush wasn't originally from Texas but was a (gasp! shock! horror!) YANKEE himself, born and bred in Connecticut, the heart of Satan's country, according to the author. Total silence after that. Absolutely hilarious! And they haven't changed much since.
