See Bluebears post and follow the link. Now ask if we should try to mobilize as well? |

OP: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=389x2569384 We need to make sure there are clear definitions set of liberal and conservative and what they mean to our youth. We ned to show the histories of both facets in America. We need to up the stake just to keep up with the corporatocracies that are trying to destroy this country to their own ends.

2. republicans haven't given up the dream of a permanent majority. |
|
or the dream of altering history to suit their storyline.
if they are going to get from A to B -- then college campuses are battlefield #1 on both fronts.
and they have at least succeeded in some small degree with campuses -- look at the increased conservatism of some venerable institutions like harvard -- or look at liberty university cranking out conservative legal scholars -- or notre dame returning to a more conservative bent -- or the relatively young age of some of the catholic conservatives on the supreme court.

in the 60`s we said the same thing about college conservatives and look who`s taken over our country. never think these people are buffoons because there are students in these groups who will become the future karls, dickies, and yes even another person like bush.
