I Try...
I don't engage in personal attacks on candidates. I won't criticize their hair, their clothes, their personal lives, or their past mistakes. Not generally. I am ALL about the issues. Their plan for the future. If that future includes seeking justice for the crimes of the Bush Administration, I'm all on board. If it includes trying to sweep the festing, noxious slime under the rug where it can feed on tiny scraps of hatred and discord so it may someday return as the Monster That Ate D.C., AGAIN, I'm totally against it.

I want a plan for the future that includes taking care of the most vulnerable among us. I want a plan that reaches out and brings jobs--good jobs--back into the country. I want a plan that heralds a new age of science and reason. I want a plan that gives us light and hope in the twilight of despair.

I want a plan for the future that includes combatting Climate Change, or at least working to negate some of its effects. I want a plan for the future that embracing new ideas and progressive ideals. I want a plan for the future that promises to make things better for people like me, people NOT like me, and future generations to come.

I want an America that stands for something important, not an America that stands for more profit and more wealth for the few.

And damn it, I'm going to fight for it.

Give me our tired, our hungry, our huddled masses and put a DAMN ballot in their hands, and give them a chance to help bring about a better world.

It's about time the people took what was rightfully theirs.

The Revolution will be fought in the hearts and minds of the People. Let it be NOW.

2. How can we restore America
without draining the swamp? Bush and Cheney leave, but much of their apparatus remains behind, ready to screw up the new administration, ready to emerge when the time is right and continue their foul work. They have to be exposed. Justice must be sought. Otherwise, we win nothing but a popularity contest.
