I talk to freepers on another board. Last week, we had this long discussion about the VA budget being cut and they kept saying no it is higher now than last year. The other liberals and I kept pounding back that the total budget doesn't matter, the allocations do.

So today someone posted this story about the vets in DC and one of the dumber freepers said well the new budget didn't allocate the repairs for this building and the vets should have known that. Yeah, like they are expected to check the VA budget before they get admitted to the facility? That same freeper also said he was a vet and he paid for his own health insurance, so these vets could do that too. I responded "which part of injured in combat do you not understand?"

They are just completely clueless.
