Tweety doesn't even disguise his disdain for Hillary and love for McCain
I'm not a HRC supporter but Tweety even disgusts me with his nasty asides about "The Clintons" and then talks of McCain as the comeback kid and story of the coming week. Trust me if McCain is nominated the corporate media will be in ecstacy.

I also love the way they already seem to believe that it's going to be Obama and Huckabee tonight even before any votes.

1. Remember who pays his salary. If it bleeds it leads. Ad Revenue. Ratings.
They have to have SOMETHING to bla bla bla all day long about.

4. Oh, and McCain? A journalist's wet dream.
Virtually ignored. Late night comics talking about him borrowing money from Vets at the VA to put gas in the "Straight Talk to Nowhere" bus?

Please.

He has a good showing and that is all we will hear out of them until the next brain fart comes across the teleprompter.

6. And he sits there and lies thru his teeth.
He has got to know most intelligent viewers know when he lies. He said that Hillary had to win Iowa. That she is so well known it is mandatory. Well bush didn't win Iowa in his first run or New Hampshire either. Course he had help to win the presidency but he sure won a lot of other states.

And look at all the other Democrats in 2004 who lost Iowa, Kerry who went on to win the race and become the candidate. What is Iowa a jerk water state who has fewer than a lot of other electoral votes. Hell she can loose Iowa there are 40 more. Does in his shit for brains mind believe what he is spewing. No..If he can bash Hillary he does it. It is a shame that people like him are allowed to be on TV. But then until the congress gets some steel balls and spine, they won't do anything about the Fairness Doctrine. Where a lot of these liars will be told to tell the truth or end up getting their companies sued and go bankrupt.

7. Josh Marshall has the clip
Tweety says that 18% will make McCain a hero; whereas if Clinton pulls 33%, it means she's a bust. His unassailable logic? McCain's expected to finish in the low teens, so 18% would be stunning. Clinton would be "rejected" by two-thirds of Iowa's Democrats. Not a word about how, even with 18%, that would mean McCain was rejected by more than four-fifths of Iowa Republicans.

I believe Tweety is, even now, in final countdown to fly his space ship back to bizarro world where 33% is horrible, and 18% is heroic.

9. The Pols really have this expectations game mastered, don't they?
It's not enough for the Average Joe to go vote and they have the results speak for them anymore, is it? The place a pol comes in isn't enough to gauge their support. Now, we need well paid and well rehearsed spin masters to tell us how their candidate's 14% turn out is actually a HUGE win, while another candidate's 33% first victory is actually a loss. Once they have that, all they need is a pundit who it foolish or mendacious enough to spread the line like manure.

That's where Tweety comes in.

10. He takes the SAME facts & spins them positively for anybody else
"The WORLD" will rejoice if OBAMA wins.

Only if OBAMA wins "will it be a renunciation of (Shrub)"

The percentages are split 3 ways, but it's great for OBAMA and "TWO OUT OF THREE reject her".

12. Tweety reminds me of my Grandma back in the day watching "The Secret Storm"
I wonder if he sits in a doily-covered crushed velour recliner breathlessly viewing his "stories" -- the news -- enthralled with the melodramatic storylines he superimposes over them in his head and developing crushes on the various "characters." Except the storylines on "The Secret Storm" had to have been much more consistent and believable.
