Did anybody ever take as much interest in the Iowa Caucas as they are this year? |
|
I never remember caring that much about the caucas much less being interested in watching it. Is it because of how terrible the last 8 years have been? I'd like to hear your comments.

3. I've always been interested... |
|
But I have a lot of friends and relatives in Iowa. One friend is a former presidential candidate... he keeps it stirred up for sure!

incumbency of criminals who have to fucking get out or be thrown out, therefore can't run an incumbent. I think it is more interesting than past years. The last 7 years have been worse than any terrible I've ever experienced as far as our government is concerned, and government is part of everything we do down to wiping our asses and putting on our socks.

10. I don't ever remember it being this big. I think there are 3 reasons for it. |
|
1) Overwhelming hatred of Bush. 2) Astonishingly dismal slate for the GOP. 3) Amazing slate for the Dems and such tight races.

4) Open Presidential office with no hand-picked successor after a two-termer.
1988 was Bush. 2000 was Gore. This time? Meh...

16. As open as it's been since 1960. |

Once Ike laughed at Dick, there was no GOP successor. Who won that year?
Hm.
