I had a similar thing happen to me, but that was in 1980 and no one gave a damn.
My English teacher who would preach and play love songs to Jesus on her guitar in class hated me because I disagreed with her actions. Needless to say, I didn't do well in that class. It was horrible.
I hope this child and his family keep pushing this because that teacher should have been dismissed immediately and a public apology should have been given.

Seems the teacher granted an interview to reporters ( first one; the story is weeks old)and , among other things, accused the kid of asking leading questions and taping him surreptitiously. ( "Get thee behind me, Satan!")
Sure looks like a devious , calculating, evil 16 y.o. to me, judging by the pic.
Agreed: the kid has moxie.
