I fear . . .
there's that "60's - 70's" part of me that fears for Barack.

I certainly hope my fears go unfounded. Anyone else of the BabyBoomer era have the same stirrings?

1. Yep, I do.
And though he's not my candidate, I sure hope my fears are also unfounded.

I'm the same way . . .
Barack is my second choice. My daughter has done some volunteering in his campaign.

But, I can't shake this feeling.

3. He's not my candidate. Having said that
I pray that NEVER happens.
It's disgusting to even imagine someone wanting to do that because of the color of his skin.

28. truly I thought the 60's fixed everything...I recall the first time I went to the tax preparer
back in the mid 60's I saw a very pretty white girl sitting with a very handsome black man waiting to have 'their' taxes prepared.

Well living in my white world, I thought, great..from then till I met my husband (he's black) in 1996 I believed the 60's fixed the racial divide. When we got together I found out differently. I understand the angst, I just refuse to let it force my decisions!

I know it's not fixed, but I will NOT throw out the baby with the bath water! Edwards is my first choice because of his policies, but I much prefer Obama over Clinton!

29. I am half of a multiracial couple.
I am Caucasian/Native American. My husband is Caucasian/Asian. It is impossible for me to not see how little stuff has changed since the 1960s.
