Huckaboom Proves Again : GOP = The Stupid Party
The geniuses that gave us GWB now embrace this schmuck. Really unbelievable that this Rev. Dimsdale is even vaguely in the running to be President of the U.S., much less a winner of a state primary!

2. But my understanding is that the GOP controllers, the money people,
want Romney. Huckabee could win their nom, but they may not get the GOP machine that stole elections for Dumbass W. I think there is a quiet war in the GOP between the financial conservatives and the Christian conservatives.

5. That quiet war...
has gotten louder since Huck started going up in polls... right wing radio, and other pundits have been talking him down for 2 months.

That war is fixin' to get real loud!

7. Yeah it's like the GOP lost control of their psych-ops
The Xtian cultist camp has sort of taken on a life of its own, and now the corporatists are like, WE CREATED FRANKENSTEIN!

13. They Split Up
These greedy bastards took the best deals they could get and the machine of '00 and '04 is spread all over the place. You have the money conservatives with Mittens (including Jebbie) and the neo-cons still hanging on to Rudy, the "social conservatives" still pine for Phred and McCain picks up whose left.

Also Hucklenuts got a big boost from christian radio...Dobson and his ilk have been pounding the pulpit just as loud as Rushbo has against him...it's a stealth campaign that the corporate media is missing.

Hucklenuts will get crushed on Tsunami Tuesday, but until then the fighting will be intense.

18. I don't see the stealth in it....
I live among Religious right wingers... they are more than one third of the GOP. Anyone in the Republican party that didn't see this coming has lost grip reality.

6. That's what my husband said....
he reminded me that when W got the nom from McCain, I was happy, thinking nobody would actually vote for such a dumbass as W.

WRONG! I'll admit it, when I'm wrong I'm wrong. But Huckabee!! Come on...no way!

11. Snake oil salesmen like nothing better than TV evangelist hustlers,
Same game, different scheme. He's their ideal smarmy huckster. Makes Chimpy, despite his blueblood privilege, look like the petulant frat boy poser he was. This one is a first rate, not a second rate, hate-mongering psychopath. The ideal candidate for that Party.

16. It is surprising that they support such terrible candidates.
And it's downright amazing when they win!

At this point in 2000, I thought bush had zero chance. Boy, was I wrong.
