Ever notice that the MSM just can't |
|
speak well of (or at all, most of the time) of Edwards? He gets the occasional honorable mention, at best, no matter how well he's doing. The rest of the time is all Hillary, Obama and the rest. Geez. What is it that prevents them from giving him air time?
Or am I imagining all this?

racist and sexist. I think it is because of those 2 things. He's just a white man with decent views on things and therefore not "sexy" (sexy not meaning sexuality, but woohoo for the news sexy)

to what you say. I love that our party embraces and promotes all of our candidates. I'm so proud to be a part of that party and the history we are making. I'm also a feminist and the first to call out the white male agenda when it is present.
But I think John Edwards is the solid choice this time around. His color and sex have nothing to do with it.

Plus, no one in the MSM has ever had to worry about a job going overseas, and they've never had a friendship with any one like Edward's dad in their life.

The same global corporatins that have turned Washington into a whore of special interests ...these very same entities own the MSM, lock stock & barrel.
How can Mainstream Media whores embrace Edwards (who's fought big corporations all his adult life), without pissing off their corporate pimps?
Don't be surprised to see huge donations fill up Hillary's coffers, after her 3rd place finish. Whether she's aware of it or not, the pimps have a vested interest in her success.

27. One thing will help her will be closed primaries. |
|
Independents could easily declare themselves Dems and vote in Iowa. I don't think that will be the case with all the remaining ones.
Obama will have to fight votes among previously registered Dems. It won't be as easy.
Whether the fix is in, I don't know.

She would be easier to deal with than Edwards, and maybe moreso than Obama.
However, I still think that closed primaries will serve her and Edwards better than Obama based on the breakdown of votes in Iowa.

He can win the South and he can unite the country and that is against "their" interests. The MSM needs suckers to vote for the status quo.

He would beat whomever the pugs gave him to run against. That must be a really scary thought for them. With Hillary and Obama I guess they delude themselves into believing they stand a chance. (idiots!!)
We'll win with any one of ours candidates. I believe that. They are all good, highly qualified people. I just wish Edwards got a little credit for his outstanding qualifications and leadership.

I'd been holding out for Gore...and had given little thought to anyone but until recently.
Now that I know who my choices are, and paying attention, I find myself in Edward's corner, myself. Not that I'm surprised. I've liked him since 2004 and felt at the time he would one day make good presidential material.

17. What prevents them? Look at who owns them...big corporations... |
|
...have a stranglehold on the media in this country, just like they have a stranglehold on everything else - gas and oil, healthcare, jobs....and THAT is what Edwards has been promising to DO something about - the stranglehold corporations have on America...and THAT is what's preventing the LAMEstream media from giving Edwards much attention.
He's their nemesis - and OUR supporter. A man of the People and not of the Profit of big Corporations (who own the media).

It's hard to accept and I hope there is a way for Edwards to rise above it. I do think (and should take some comfort in the fact) that they are screwing themselves with the idea that leaving out the best and most qualified will give them the win. We have a win no matter what. And any one of our candidates will be a win for America.

They mention Edwards only when they absolutely have to - when there is no way around it. Even KO is guilty of this.
I think the reason has to do with the fact that Edwards is against the power and influence big corporations have, corporations that include the major TV networks.

It's the reality of the situation and damn disgusting if you ask me. They're frightened of him winning because of his anti-corporate and TRULY populist stance. So, they try to banish him from the minds of the electorate by not mentioning him -- even when he outperforms their chosen Democratic candidates, Senators Clinton and Obama.

I hope he can somehow get some exposure to people who get their info. from the M$M. Many don't even know he exists, much less his message. Nightline tonight barely mentioned him, when they did it was negative and they still disputed his second placing.
