Is Obama/Edwards or Edwards/Obama possible? |
|
I don't know. I am asking.

Second one would make me very happy. Edit to add: I don't think Obama would do it though.

2. No to the first, maybe but unlikely to the second. |
|
If you study their platforms, they aren't really on the same page on many issues. Obama would have to shift his positions on a number of issues and that always leads to the GOP pointing and squawking.

4. Obama, the party leaders, and Edwards likely wouldn't go with Obama/Edwards. |
|
Edwards has been on that end of the ticket already.
Not an ego thing. A strategy thing.
Edwards/Obama is possible.

8. Obama - Edwards would make sense. |

They both have similar outlooks and messages that compliment each other much better than Kerry - Edwards did. And Obama wouldn't have to silence Edwards in fear of being out-shined like Kerry did. A populist Midwestern-Southern ticket is a powerful combo.

9. Either would be fine in my opinion. |
|
Obama/Edwards would be great in that we would still have a firebrand populist in Edwards to help negate Obama's corporatism.
Edwards/Obama would help give us a large voter base and help negate people's perceptions about Obama's inexperience.
