I've concluded that George W. Bush is a great president

much in the same way that Louis Farrakhan called Adolf Hitler a very great man.

He has managed to widen the gulf between rich and poor, reversing 65 years of progress. He has enriched those he respects and loves, the money lenders, the arms dealers, the oil barons and the energy fakirs. He has put into positions of power people who use self-interest and greed to destroy the social structure of our country. He has promoted people, not on talent or ability, but on how close and reliable they are. He has grabbed the reins of power firmly with both hands and shows no indication of ever letting go. Much like Hitler, his election and eventual placement in leadership was a result of a small group of people plotting and planning the result.

He has surrounded himself with truly capable people - capable of creating strife, wreckage, endless war-mongering and utter destruction.

And despite all of this, a hardcore group of people are convinced that he is blessed in his leadership, that the heavens favor him, and that they - his followers - are doing the divine's bidding by supporting him. Nothing, no facts, no arguments, no evidence and no testimony will ever convince them otherwise.

So, by Hitlerian standards, Bush is indeed a great man. Great as in excessive, extravagant, extreme, grievous, immense, inordinate, terrible, titanic, and tremendous,
