1. Of course it is their fault

First; If the soldiers would not have gotten themselves wounded, there would not have been a need for the hospital

Second; Since the soldiers are wounded, they should have had the fortitude to hide their wounds and go off in a corner for the rest of their lives.

Third and most important; If the families would not have made such a big deal out of the conditions, this would not have become a big media event and the government would be able to go merrily along doing what they do, screwing the veterans.
