Edwards supporters: Edwards did get a bump out of Iowa according to new NH poll! |
|
Don't count John Edwards out. He might still pull an upset and come in second in NH
Here's the latest results: Obama: 38 Clinton: 26 Edwards: 20
This poll conducted Jan 4-5
The previous poll done Jan 1-3 Had Clinton ahead of Obama by 35-31 with 15% for Edwards.
So coming out of Iowa Obama gained 7-points, Edwards gained 5-points and Clinton dropped 9-points. If Edwards gets his message across he can be the surprise of NH by coming in second! Don't give up hope.

Read this.....it's going to knock your socks off...........
Strong finish in Iowa attracts thousands of first-time donors, putting campaign on track for best online fundraising day to date
Chapel Hill, North Carolina – Following a strong second-place finish in the Iowa Caucuses last night, the John Edwards for President campaign announced record-breaking online fundraising totals, putting the campaign on track for its best online fundraising day to date.
"We have been absolutely overwhelmed by the response to Sen. Edwards' strong finish in Iowa," said Edwards' senior strategist Joe Trippi. "We're on track for our best online fundraising day ever, since www.JohnEdwards.com went up a year ago – and half of the contributions we're seeing are from new donors to the campaign. That speaks volumes to the strength of John Edwards' message of standing up and fighting for the middle class."
The campaign first saw an uptick in online fundraising late last night, as the results from Iowa's first-in-the-nation contest began rolling in. The surge continued overnight, and by 8:45am ET this morning the campaign's online contributions had already topped the previous day's day-long total. Between the hours of 10:00am and 11:00am ET today, the campaign experienced its best online fundraising hour ever.
Also noteworthy about Edwards' online fundraising totals today:
Half of those who have contributed are first-time donors to the campaign More than ninety percent (92.6%) of today's online contributions are for amounts less than $100 John Edwards is the only Democratic candidate in the race who has never accepted a dime from PACs or Washington lobbyists. The campaign also noted that the impact of many of today's online contributions will be doubled by federal matching funds.

The idea of Hillary makes me depressed. The idea of Obama makes me despondent. The idea of Republican makes me the legal resident of another nation.

But I am even more despondent when I think how hard it is to become a resident of another country these days--no country seems to want Americans, and who can blame them? Help!!!

7. He's running some good ads in the NH market. He is also "looking good" |
|
of late. This may seem like a foolish point, but he's FINALLY hit on the right haircut. He no longer looks like Opie Taylor at thirteen in his Easter suit.
He has a businesslike look about him, and he looks comfortable as well. That enables him to focus on his audience and deliver his message.

14. It's possible that Obama is now annointed. |
|
Seeing that he's moved so far to the right, and is beholden to corporations and religionists and wants to appeal to Reeps.
Geez.

22. I think he will be on his game tonight. |
|
Obama won't have wiggle room to dance around questions he don't like. A few good sound bites whirring around the tv channels will flip those numbers in a hurry.
Look what it did to HRC with her immigration driver licenses dose do around that question.
If they John some free reign tonight, he will leave some major mumbling about Obama. I think we're going to see a ninja Edwards tonight.

But my life would be so much better if he was elected I wish I could give him the full $4300.
