trying to show outrage about bush policies lately. He tried to go after Claire Mc Caskill yesterday and wanted her to answer why they haven't done anything about the veterans's housing and all of the problems. Hasn't she just been on the job for about a month..

He been jumping in everyone's face (mainly democrats) about all of the problems that the Republicons have ignored for years now, and that he has egged on. I would like for once to see him get as outrage with the cons or the non-pres and his vice as he has when dems come on his show. After he does his dirt then he does that little smirk to the camera which makes me want to...

1. He didn't go after her, he said she has no blame:

He chastized her. Honestly. I watched it live.

In all fairness, he did reference her as being the "new kid" a few times. Other than his brief tirade, he treated her fairly, imo.

have you seen any evidence that George Bush won‘t borrow money if he wants to spend it somewhere? Do you think he really would fight one less war because he didn‘t have the money?

It‘s not about the tax base. Democrats shift the topic to favorable territory.

The issue here is treatment of the guys and women who fight for us and give their lives and limbs for us. That‘s the issue. Let‘s stay on it.

I specifically remember him saying something about "shaking the tree," or "you Democrats always want to shake the tree in your favor." Look at the bolded sentence: "You think," followed by a blank line, followed by, "have you seen any..." They edited out the part about shaking the tree. :mad:

The way he laid into her for making a very valid point really ticked me off. I've never heard him talk that way to a Republic when they try to tie issues together, or when they completely change the topic.

16. Perhaps you missed the part when after she started a response

that included the word "taxes" he went nuts. He went completely nuts. Basically attacked her because Bush has spent money like there is no tomorrow. It was really very strange - but typical for spittle boy.

Additionally if you have been following the Scooter Libby trial you will know that Cheney and Libby were OBSESSED with Matthews and Hardball for the tough questions Matthew was asking re the 16 Words --- Doing transcripts, getting outraged that Matthews was being so "MEAN" to Dick Cheney, calling NBC, et cetera

now because he has seen what they are doing to Russert, he only does it when someone else brings up and issue but if a Dem comes on and hints about the same issue he shuts it down and talks over them... Some issues have been talked about by us here at DU for years now and by some of the candidates, but as long as the Cons were in control he didn't say shit, he smirked at the camera...
