Obamas 'change' ends with a seasoned statesmen as VP

I am a Obama supporter, But I see a coming problem. Obama needs to disarm the repub talking points, the most dangerous perhaps is the 'no experience' rap. He can do this by tapping a experienced VP. A vetted statesmen that will remove the talking point.

But does this move kill his change message, and allow the repubs to redirect their attacks ?

Former US ambassador, but also gives him a way to go at the Hispanic angle.

You'd need someone who does have lots of experience, but who has also been out of politics for a while - yet who is also perceived as leading the way for a major change in how our country approaches problems. There's not many who fall under these qualifications.

Except: Al Gore.

7. Webb has to be given serious consideration. It would be a killer ticket, balanced

not just in resume but in personal style. The repugs are certain to attack Obama as a nice guy that will get us all killed. Webb's "let's roll up our sleeves and slug it out" style would help defuse the repug attacks.

And then there's the public's apparent aversion to Senators on a ticket that either Obama or Clinton (or, for that matter, McCain) will have to overcome just by themselves.

10. Gore has already said he would not take any position, vp or cabinet. Besides, Gore would almost

be too large a presence for a young president, overshadowing him. For the same reason, I could never imagine a Obama/Hillary ticket (but definitely a Hillary/Obama ticket).

14. IMO, Gov K Sebelius would be his best choice to prove he is for change, a chance to make inroads

into red states, and someone who has executive experience.
