DUers knocking down each others' candidates = doing the Republicans' slime work for them? |
Is it helping or hurting the cause of getting Democrats elected?

3. There's no way to avoid it |
We have to pick a nominee, and that involves debate. Debate sometimes gets heated. It's the way of the world.
And the Republicans do it, too.

9. I doubt that can be helped, either. |
Let me know when human beings become completely rational. I'll be dancing in the streets. But I'm not holding my breath.

4. I was a bit dubious of the low-post-count DUers, but |
I've seen this weird, middle-school BS going on with people who have been hear for a long, long time, too. I wonder what the hell is going on?

6. I think you're overestimating the power of DU and Du'ers. |
Call me silly, but I seriously doubt that what happens on DU will effect the outcome of the election.

8. While Freepers and other Republicans do the same for the Democrats |
It is called a primary.
Frankly, though, I find it an appallingly clear view of herd mentality. Shoot down all the potential candidates, slime them, beat them up, drag every last skeleton out of their closets, invent and help spread all sorts of nasty rumors, and otherwise trash everyone except your own pick. Then when a nominee is selected, ignore all the crap that has been going on for the past year and wet yourself on how obviously perfect, clean and unflawless the candidate is.

10. As a Joe Bidenite looking for a new candidate, it's really difficult |
to filter through the BS, outright lies and exaggerations. Geez, very disgusting.
