But, I have seen football (soccer) played in four continents. I have experienced the excitement, the awe, the energy of an entire stadium totally into a game. And I have seen riots and violence that stems from a mere game.

Politics is even more emotionally involving, especially as our rights had faded and our hopes begin to grow with a new era. Obama and Edwards are going to piss some people off. I can easily imagine riots and street fights on political grounds.
