Elections are a thing of the past.
Tonight demonstrated that clearly. The corporate machine will install a 'president' for us. Our role is to simply play along.

BushCo got rid of election-day entrance and exit polling, only to have these same services contracted out to private orgs (read: GOP Loyalists). Bush has done sooo much harm to the world where does one begin?

10. I guess I'm talking about the media more than the election
I just don't believe a word of it. Election polling has been decidedly accurate forever, until the Bush years. Suddenly EVERY race is a nail-biter, with dramatic shifts in tallies at the eleventh hour.

13. Pay little attention to the incessant polling. As always, the only poll that counts is the vote.

3. "Clearly"?
Do you have proof or is this just more sour grapes over Hillary's win?

9. Basically other posts are whining about Hillary winning...
and blaming the machines because they can't accept the fact that PEOPLE voted for her over their candidate of choice.

5. We can't let them see us sweat...
Iowa, New Hampshire, and probably South Carolina are all Conservative states. Liberals have little chance of winning with that and the media blitz.

Republicans voted in Democratic races is all I can see right now as to the winners. They want the top two to win so they can beat them. They know that don't a chance otherwise.
