Anyone remember Red Skelton? He made a speech tonight... |
Yeah, yeah, dead for many years. But if you remember his speech pattern, and particulalry the way he said "and may god bless" at the end of every show...well you would have heard him tonight, but in John McCaines skin. It was so damned perfect that it was almost creepy. I watched when it was replayed later and by gawd the first impressiojn was right, I looked away and had I bet, I'd have bet it was red Skelton. It was Mccaines, so-called acceptance speech. look for it tomorrow.

3. John's an interesting guy |
I think on some level he's a very good human being. He's certainly brave and tough. It's a shame that he's wrong on most of the issues...and sucks up to that dimwit in the WH. I still wouldn't vote for him, but I'd at least respect him more.

4. I actually would have voted for him in 2000, but his mental state has deteriorated badly...sad |

5. I agree about his mental state. |
But he couldn't have gotten my vote in 2000. I loves me some Gore! Not as much as my wife, but as much as decorum allows. :0
