1. that is really funny
The other thing that is funny is that people insist that the schools should not be teaching sex ed, it was the parent's job. Now my parent was so embarrassed about everything she didn't teach me a thing! I had to buy books on the subject after I was of age. Glad I was unpopular and no boy would go out with me when I was a teen--ugliness can be a blessing in disguise.

4. I never asked my parents
I went to the library and read books that I would cover up with larger books. I did this because I panicked after hearing some playground talk that when you have sex, if the man doesn't keep moving, the woman dies, and I didn't want someone's death on my hands... or from my... well, you know.

5. Oh my, that's funny!
All my mother would tell me was not to disgrace my family, but she never really explained how that would happen. I could feel shame and embarrassment from her and my grandmother, even when they discussed natural bodily functions like menstruation.

6. Yep, the only 5th-grader in town
Reading what few sex-ed books were in the library to begin with and covering them up with a large Charlie Brown comic collection. :)

2. Ignorance. The ultimate conservative value
Yes Mommy, I'm still a virgin. I don't know what a virgin is but since you want me to be one I am. Praise the Lord. Timmy showed me whats in his pants and what it does.
