But only beat Obama by 3% last night!

Less than 3 months ago, she was predicted to blow out her competition in New Hampshire. As example this AP story (10/13/07):

By The Associated Press

Hillary Rodham Clinton is holding a commanding lead over Barack Obama for the Democratic presidential nomination in New Hampshire, a poll released Sunday found.
Clinton had the support of 40 percent of those surveyed compared to 20 percent for Obama, Marist College Institute for Public Opinion said.

John Edwards was third (12 percent) and Bill Richardson fourth (7 percent).

On the Republican side, Mitt Romney held a slight edge over Rudy Giuliani (25 percent to 21 percent). John McCain was third (18 percent) and Fred Thompson fourth (10 percent).

Clinton was the overwhelming choice among those polled who want a strong leader or someone who will bring about change -- 44 percent chose her compared with 20 percent for Obama and 11 percent for Edward

In fact, a huge Clinton victory was predicted all the way up to 5 days before the NH primary. I don't see Obama's 3% loss in NH has a crushing defeat, nor do I see Hillary's victory as an amazing comeback. In reality (that's REALITY) folks, it had probably been closer all along.

The M$M spin suggests some kind of amazing Hillary comeback, yet where are the stories saying Obama came back from 20% down to almost catch Clinton last night?

Same pundits, same polls, same M$M ---- different spin.

Obama (and maybe Edwards) have plenty of surprises left in the tank! 48 more states to go...

Don't listen to the belt way pundits!

peace~:)

1. And the delegates are tied
Obama did very very well last night. I don't know why women voted the way they did, maybe it's a regional thing.

2. Damn right! Yet, she keeps calling her performance a "comeback."
She merely avoided a career ending disaster by edging out Obama.

This is going to be an interesting season.

3. For Obama, it IS a crushing defeat--he is at a disadvantage already
because of the superdelegate thing, and now his 'mo going into SC is nonexistent. Makes Super Tuesday very tough. Even if he had won all the early primaries, I wasn't so sure he would win NY or CA. He's in serious trouble, and Edwards is too. Not saying they can't bounce back, but Hillary was so heavily favored to win, it's hard to see that reversing now.

5. So funny

They were kicking Clinton yesterday, she's dead, hahaha, its a huge poll lead now its like, this means nothing.

Well let me tell you, if I was Obama last night and saw a massive 10% lead erased to a 3% loss, i'd be totally stunned as to what hit me and probably in complete shock. If Clintons win last night was not a massive comeback, then I must be in fantasyland. The truth is Obama and his team thought they had the nomination in the bag last night and dont try and say otherwise because it was smugly being played that way all day but along came Hilary and chucked Obama's juggernaut off the cliff like a tonka toy.

Obama's poll rises in nevada and SC and the nationals only came about after Iowa and Hillary looked finished. Its rather dangerous for the shoe to be on the other foot for Obama at this juncture.

4. 2%, actually. 39 - 37.
And Obama still leads in pledged delegates.

Yet Hillary is 'inevitable' again.

There's a long way to go...
