Remember Lurleen B. Wallace? And compare to Hillary.
For those of you that don't know the story, Lurleen ran and won a race for Governor of Alabama after her Husband had tried unsuccessfully to change the constitution to accommodate his running for another term. By this action, George Wallace became Governor by proxy.

While I am an Edwards supporter, I do not believe that this will be the case if Hillary gets the nomination. I feel that she's her own woman and I, for one, would hate to get in her way during an argument. Hell, she makes my ex look like Mother Theresa.

What do you think? Lurleen or a individual?

1. there's no comparison.
HRC is her own woman. She ran for Senate in NY--rather than in Ark where she had been the states first lady or IL where she was born and raised. She won in 2000 and was re-elected in 2006. She is a woman of substance--not anybody's puppet.

3. No. This stemmed from a conversation with my mother who likes Hillary
The question in the header was answered in the OP in that I did not believe that Hillary would be a Lurleen.

I wasn't trying to "impress" anyone in the OP, just garner some conversation.

Peace.

4. The Lurleen meme
could be used by the GOP in order to get people who didn't like Bill to vote against his wife.

5. Lurleen wasn't president of student govt at Wellesley, or a Yale law grad...
Hillary would probably have gone farther, sooner, without Bill.
