1. Now that you mention it, it is UNUSUAL ...
You'd think the GOP would go with the SURE-FIRE, SHOO-IN, CAN'T MISS candidate!

5. Our Constitution says
that only US citizens can run for president. Cheney can't, because he is a citizen from hell.

7. He should run. His slogan could be, "Dick Chaney, straight shooter."

10. Cheney wouldn't run. If he wants to rule, he would get rid of the puppet
If he wants to rule, he would get rid of the puppet by "traditional" means -- perhaps over lunch, thus giving himself the presidency in law as well as fact. Of course, it would work best if the tragic event could be pinned on terrorists from Iran (or wherever suits him). With the Constitution already duly gutted, all he needs to do at that point is declare martial law and call off the elections.Much easier than trying to get elected.

11. And it's hurtful. The liberal media are at it again with their lies and
their distortions.

They've never liked Dick Cheney because he makes more money than they do, and because his wife is a red-hot vixen. Naturally, we're looking at a major vein of jealousy here.

Which is understandable. Cheney's the 007 of Republican politics. Suave, cosmopolitan, and a natty dresser as well -- witness that stylish parka and mudboots combo he wore for the Auschwitz Memorial presentation. Proudly did he sit, looking for all the world like a guy who runs a baitshop in Yellow Knife, among that somber gaggle of protocol-ridden fashion midgets who fancy themselves heads of state. That's Old Europe for ya -- slaves to Sameness. Our Dick stood out. Our Dick gets it done.

He's the odds-on favorite for the White House in 08.

Whether those damn liberals admit it or not.

12. Hahaha...Good one
At 17% approval, he's only a bit behind Romney so what the Hell, might as well run him up the flagpole and see who salutes him.
Maybe the administration is just gonna wait until summer '08 and appoint him president.

Guaranteed, we wont have to suffer the consequences of a peaceful world that Republicans seem to fear so much.

(I got your sarcasm btw...good one)

15. Two signs that the Republicans are gonna lose in 2008
1. Dick Cheney is being discussed as a potential candidate.
2. Newt Gingrich is being seriously discussed as a potential candidate.

Two of the most despised men in America, with higher negatives than W could ever aspire to, and Fox actually talks about them as viable candidates. It makes you think your TV's busted when you hear crap like that.

Between the neocon fiascoes and their complete lack of a clue, this could be the biggest landslide since Johnson-Goldwater.
