What are you willing to give for issues important to you? |

Not interested so much in what you want to take, such as taxing the top 1% to a higher degree to pay for future Social Security benefits, Education, etc, etc. That may be all well and good(and I'm not wealthy by any means, so I could give a damn about their fortune), but since nothing comes for free, and we live in an increasingly globalized and integrated world, what are you willing to give up? Or, if you've already done that, what have you given up? Or is it possible for everyone(and that'll have to include every living thing on the planet) to have everything?

That means I have a small choice of cars, which I have to pay more for because of the diesel engine. I have to make a special trip once or twice a month for 100% vegetable oil based fuel, and I lug around these 5 gallon cans of it so I don't have to drive to the biodiesel station more often than that. I have to mix in petroleum fuel in the winter so my fuel doesn't freeze and stop my car on the highway (it's happened to me twice).
OTOH, I put maybe 100 gallons of petroleum in my tank a year.
