Suggestion for a DU upgrade

Perhaps because its primary season, the quality of threads is as low as I've ever seen it. There are times when I open a forum page and there might be a dozen threads by one poster, and if the dozen threads were combined the result wouldn't equate to even one rational idea.

The "hide thread" functionality is precious in these times, but I find it cumbersome to have to delete one thread at a time. Perhaps we could have a way to select multiple threads and delete them in one click. Sort of like Gmail where I can select all the messages on a page and trash them instantly.

1. If you put the poster on ignore
you can elect not to see any threads they start too. It will be as if they don't exist.

2. i've finally put a few posters on ignore just because they cover the board.
posts with news articles i enjoy and find useful, other prolific posters---not so much.

5. Those previous thread/next thread icons should be at the bottom of every page, too
So I don't have to scroll to the top of the page. That is useful in one of the slower forums like Bicycling, where I want to read *every* new post that shows up in the newest threads.

I see your point, too.

9. I like that, but it would be a coding nightmare
whereas the "multiple delete" function may not be.
