A question about the troops? |
|
Edited on Thu Feb-22-07 11:21 AM by Dracos
Why is it that those who are opposed to the war are more concerned about the soldiers than those who support the war? When I say concerned I mean is the troops well supplied with military equipment, proper medical care in Irag as well after they return home, and several other concerns that I have heard raised over the past 4.5 years yet when we oppose the war we are told we don't support the troops.Yet those that wrap themselves in the flag don't seem to give a damn about there conditions.

1. Because the RW interest in our troops, like unborn fetuses |

...is selfish and superficial. It's all about THEIR beliefs and goals, not the common good of the symbols they support.

2. Part of supporting our troops is opposing the war. |

I mean, how can you say that you support the troops if you also support putting them in harm's way for no good reason?

As a Vet I support the troops and veterans with my heart. But I will stand to end this war of lies
