Have Any Of The "Big Three" Come To Kucinich's Defense ??? |
|
Look...I'm Edwards first, Obama second, Clinton if it has to be...
But if none of these idiots stood up for Kucinich...
Well then fuck 'em all!!!
They should have told NBC, especially after the first court said K was in, that they would ONLY participate if that ruling was honored.
I do NOT like what I'm thinking now, but here's a hint...
They've ALL just suppressed THIS vote!

I think it's ridiculous that over 70% of Americans think the war is the number #1 issue and that we should get out immediately.
There is something wrong when it looks like the top two Presidential candidates from each of the two major parties that are likely to get the nomination (Clinton and McCain) both support the war and have no strategy for getting us out. It's like we are living in 2004 election all over again.

In Iowa. Obama said if you are a Kucinich supporter and you don't get 5% in your caucus, switch to me. Kucinich said NOTHING.

All... are punished!
From the end of Romeo and Juliet:
Prince:
This letter doth make good the friar's words, Their course of love, the tidings of her death: And here he writes that he did buy a poison Of a poor 'pothecary, and therewithal Came to this vault to die, and lie with Juliet. Where be these enemies? Capulet! Montague! See, what a scourge is laid upon your hate, That heaven finds means to kill your joys with love. And I for winking at your discords too Have lost a brace of kinsmen: all are punish'd.

when i heard olbermann announce this tonight--that the supreme court ruled for msnbc--and he didn't cover it (same as last night)--he just gave it a fifteen second mention--i walked away from olbermann, went back on here, didn't know exactly what to do.
i felt so crushed--so deflated--so depressed to think that some piece of crap like chuck todd can make this decision, or whoever the motherfucker he works for made--to decide who our candidates are going to be...
i'm at a loss.
i grabbed some pillows and a blanket--turned on the science channel and fell asleep for two and a half hours
didn't watch the "debate", or the spin bullshit after
i feel so done with it. so disheartened.
i kept thinking congress needs to intervene--and how absurd is that? -- to not allow these supposed "public" televised debates to be manipulated by the power brokers. congress should pass a law that says if a candidate is on the goddamn ballot then they get to be in the goddamn debate!

I was really hoping against hope that someone might stand up for Democracy, but not that corporate three.
So no matter who gets the nom, they will still all support their corporate masters.Let the games continue...let the"dems" duke it out so that people pick sides and fight each other over who is "better" and forget all about the issues. People deserve what they are gonna get...except for the few that see the puppeteers behind the curtains...what are we supposed to do???

27. What we are supposed to do is preserve the knowledge of the truth so it can be passed on. |
|
For myself, I mean to tend to my garden, tend to those I love, and treat everyone I encounter with loving kindness. (That last is the hard part, of course.)
I'm thinking that will have to suffice for what time I have left on this planet. If humans are ever going to evolve beyond feces-flinging and warfare, we're going to need to stock up on good seed and protect some embers from which to build new fires when the time comes.

But Republicans fight for their own. Why not ours?
As one person stated-if one voice is silenced all of us are. They won't fight for Kucinich let alone any citizen (and there's been plenty of them abused by this administration).
Well they don't really believe in democracy and the Constitution do they?

yet so many here want to think Edwards is some great progressive hero, fighting for the underdog. One only has to look at his voting record to see that he is very skillful at being a lawyer, saying what needs to be said to win his case(in this case stealing Kucinich's platform) but even if you forgive his bad decisions, how can anyone possibly trust his judgment in the future?

When they came out last night Edwards should have made a statement from the get go about GE and the corporate powers who are "picking" who can participate and who can not and said I will NOT participate in this kind of game (which is what his campaign is about) and walked off the stage....he would have won the debate. Period. Hands down. He did not...that makes me very very sad.

|
I figured that John "Mr. Corporations Are Fucking You Over" Edwards would at least complain about Dennis' exclusion. The fact that he did not makes me question his integrity and sincerity. Big black mark on John in my book. Doesn't he realize that HE is going to be the next person to be excluded?
Thanks for the link to Democracy Now! If not for Amy Goodman, I would be despairing even more that I already do.
