The half-alive Thompson wins the pathetic award, everything about him from his C-grade stardom to his bumbling manner in the debates is PATHETIC. In fact I don't hate him because he is so pathetic. Despise and disdain are the words that come to mind.

Rudy, on the other hand, represents everything I HATE from racism, authoritarianism, and the Mafia, to the hypocrisy of the urban elites and the creeping fascism in the new direction cities are going. I am pleased to say he has no chance of becoming president, having been photographed in a dress and makeup, but it doesn't make me HATE him and all he represents any less!

He never should have even *tried* for it. He does not have the energy and shouldn't have listened to the flatterers who promised him the presidency by acclamation (including, apparently, Mrs. Fred.) He should have stayed a 'could-a-been' and continued phoning in his tv performances.
