Huckabee's son tortures animals, dad covers

Yesterday someone here was asking why Democrats don't circulate e-mails like the Republicans do. I think it's a great idea, and this story is an ideal place to start.

It may be old news to some of you, but Mike Huckabee's son was fired from a job with the Boy Scouts in 1998 for hanging a dog from a tree on a camping trip! In a Newsweek article the former head of the Arkansas state police claims Huckabee fired him because he didn't participate in a cover-up of the incident. This story passes Snopes.com inspection, as well, so you won't get any reply e-mails refuting it.

3. While it might be something to keep

in the back of our minds, it's still too early in the primary season to see if Huck makes it to the #1 spot on the puke candidacy. Everyone hates a dog killer, so it could be used strategically if it needs to be--Huck's own "swiftboating?" I wouldn't be afraid to attack with this--I despise the religious right, so this would make a very good point in the end, especially since it's true.
