Katrina II
A financial storm has hit the markets. It's been sitting off the coast of Wall Street for six months, but once again our President has no plan. We've got to get this asshole out of office now or we'll all be underwater by November. Impeach now.

2. At the risk of being shredded and fed to the livestock...
...why should the government do *anything?* Isn't this just a part of the capitalism that Americans are required to adore? I say let it go. Not many alive today have seen the downside of capitalism for a while. Maybe that will force some folks to think a bit. That can only be good...even if it is painful.

4. It was this government's actions that caused this fiasco...
The Federal Government... you know, the dumbasses who decided that companies didn't need rules to follow, that they could self-regulate. There is a long grocery list of things BushCo did that lead right up to this disaster. They broke it, they should fix it... but it is rather silly to think that they would do it right.

5. Certainly the government allowed such actions.
But it was the corporations that actually engaged in the scams. America should be made aware that this is the price we collectively have to pay for undoing so much of the New Deal.
