Bush administration scrubs transcript on North Korea. Last week, Jay Lefkowitz, President Bush’s special envoy on North Korean human rights, told AEI that North Korea will probably still have nuclear weapons when the next president takes office. Yesterday, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice “sharply rebuked” Lefkowitz for undermining the administration’s claims of success in the six-party talks. The official transcript of his comments on the State Department’s website has also disappeared, although they can still be found at AEI’s site here.

There is nothing you write that I don't read and I guess I don't comment enough...It is so sad that in a time where multiple impeachable crimes are committed each week it is hard to keep the deserved level of outrage.This post reflects one more "mere" failure of Bush diplomacy that leaves us, and the world, again more at risk...In a normal political climate this would be at the top of the greatest page and a target for righteous rage...insteade it has become "that's news?"...Please keep on doing what you do-I assure you it is important.
