5. The "Age Expectancy" calculator is interesting too |
|
I have a "virtual age" almost 6 years younger than my chronological age and a life expectancy of 80.9 years. :toast:

11. Ugh, that sucks. I'm 44. My virtual age is 43.9 |
|
It's almost not worth it if all I can milk out of a responsible lifestyle is an addition 5 weeks of life. Sheesh.

13. It is kind of backwards for me |
|
I am overweight, balding, have Type-2 diabetes and a family history of cardio-vascular disease. As a result, I see a doctor every three months, work out vigorously four times a week (i hour on an elliptical trainer) and less vigorously twice a day for five times a week (walking at a good clip about 1.5 miles to and from work), have excellent blood pressure and eat a diet that fits both the American Heart Association and the American Diabetes Association standards. I did fudge a bit and call my regular sessions on World of Warcraft "relaxation."
If that calculator is based on accurate actuarial data, I'm set. :toast:

Edited on Thu Jan-24-08 12:42 PM by intheflow
I don't see it.
...but then again, I haven't had nearly enough coffee this morning, so maybe I'm just missing it.
*On edit: Never mind. I found it with just a few more sips of caffeine. :hi:
Oh, and my real age is 44 with a life expectancy of 75, but my virtual age is 38 with a life expectancy of 80! :bounce:

And if you like that kind of stuff, search YouTube for The Capitol Steps, they're masters of converting pop songs into politcal satire.

Personal note to GWB: In the time it takes you to read it, 10 will have been born and 4 will die.

26. Well, despite some bad habits I'm going to make it to 83. |
|
I'm 69 now, so looks like I have a way to go yet. I expected that because all the women on my mother's side lived into their 80s and they all had health issues.
