Candidates should drop out during televised debates. |

Then they can announce their endorsements on live national television.
Can you picture it: They ask Rudy a question about 9/11, and he answers by saying, "Well, I think John McCrazy is better qualified to answer that question, so I'm dropping out and endorsing John."
And the network doing the televising won't have to change the set at the last moment.
Just spitballin'.
