in November will there be any consequences for the Bush regime for all of their misdeeds over the past 8 years? War crimes? Jail? What say ye DUers and which candidate do we think is most likely to go after them and which to let it slide?

We're never going to go after the president after he's left office. If there's no congressional movement right now for anything remotely close to impeachment we're not going to make those moves no matter who is sitting in the Oval Office.

It would be nice if we had some kind of actual forum for recourse, say, an International Criminal Court of some kind. What a novel idea.

No viable candidate would make it a priority to rake up what wold look like a lot of politically motivated sour grapes, and no candidate who made it a priority would be viable.

but last time Clinton either pardoned misdeeds or ignored them. So I'm sure hillary would go the same route as her husband and "look forward, not back"

...when our chief invertebrates Pelosi and Reid assured us that they're more concerned with grabbing votes in the '08 elections from uninformed former Bushies than respecting the Constitution or the rule of law in general.(remember Habeas Corpus? sigh...) Now that every GOP remainder is pushing for "bipartisanship"--which is peculiar given that I must have missed all of those same calls for bipartihanship during the first 6 years of Bush II--their handlers don't want the Democrats in power to appear "petty" or "mean." God, why would we want to start enforcing rule of law now?!
